Jane Varghese has extensive work experience in talent acquisition and human resources. Jane currently works as the Manager of Talent Acquisition at the Nuclear Waste Management Organization. Prior to this, they served as a Senior Talent Acquisition Consultant at the Independent Electricity System Operator (IESO) from 2014 to 2021. In this role, they re-engineered talent acquisition processes and led the NERC Background Checks Initiative.

Jane also worked as the National Talent Attraction Manager at KPMG Canada, where they led the Operations team and provided consultation on recruitment technologies and best practices. Jane held the position of Program Lead, Staffing at Toronto Hydro from 2009 to 2012, and worked as an HR Consultant and Team Lead at Canadian Tire from 2004 to 2009. At Hudson's Bay Company, they served as a Sr. IT Recruitment Specialist and built the Process Engineering Services Group.

Earlier in their career, Jane worked as a Staffing Consultant at Fidelity Investments, a Technical Recruiter at Modis, a Human Resources Officer at Student On-site Solutions, and a Corporate Industrial Relations Assistant at CBC Television.

Jane Varghese pursued their education by first attending Ryerson University from 1994 to 1995. During this time, they obtained a Certificate in Human Resources Management (CHRM) with a specialization in Talent Acquisition. After completing their certificate, they attended the University of Toronto from 1989 to 1994. Here, they achieved a Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in Sociology and specializing in English.
