Joseph Simmons has been in the business industry since 1999, starting their career as a General Manager at Subway. During their tenure, they received five awards for the highest volume ever recorded in a Subway franchise and their store became the busiest in Mississippi. In 2004, Joseph moved to Applebee's, where they were responsible for reversing declining sales trends of six locations, most noticeably the Meridian, MS location which went from $2.1 million annually to $3.6 million in under three years. From 2017 to 2019, Joseph was the General Manager at Gaetano's Pizzeria. In 2021, Joseph worked as a Developer at Nwicode, Inc. and became the Business Owner of both NullKode.io and nextinqu. Joseph also served as the Owner of Ruptured Brain from 2015 to 2021.

Joseph Simmons attended the University of Phoenix from 2010 to 2012, where they studied Psychology.
