Von Summers has extensive experience in community affairs, currently serving at NW Natural since June 1997. Prior to this role, Von Summers held the position of Director of Marketing and Public Relations at the Home Builders Association of Metro Portland from November 1984 to June 1997. Von Summers earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science and Government from Oregon State University, where studies took place from 1976 to 1981.
