Matthew Knapik, P.E. is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as Pipeline Integrity Management Engineer III and previously as Station Design Engineer II at NW Natural since October 2021. Prior to this role, Matthew Knapik worked at Haley & Aldrich from May 2016 to July 2021, where the positions held included Assistant Project Manager, Senior Engineer, and Staff Engineer, focusing on design and maintenance of remediation systems and landfills. Earlier experience includes a Professional Intern role at Kleinfelder, where duties involved underground utility work, and serving as a Site Superintendent Assistant at D.C. Beane Construction Company. Matthew Knapik holds a Master’s Degree in Environmental Engineering and a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, both from Northeastern University, along with a high school education from Fairfield College Preparatory School.
