Kelsey Balensifer is an experienced professional in community affairs and public relations with a strong background in journalism. Currently serving as the Community Affairs Manager for NW Natural since May 2022, Kelsey previously worked as the Community Public Liaison for the City of Cannon Beach and as the Event Coordinator & Publication Editor for the Astoria-Warrenton Area Chamber of Commerce, where fundraising events were organized to support tourism and local businesses. Kelsey's early career included editorial roles at Red Alert Politics, The Washington Examiner, and The Point magazine, along with freelance writing for Presbyterian Homes and Services. Kelsey holds a Bachelor of Arts in Print Journalism from Biola University and has furthered professional development through programs at the National Journalism Center and Washington Journalism Center.
