Martin Gierse

Martin Gierse has worked in the field of imaging technologies since 2014. From 2014-2017, they worked as a Student Assistant at the Institute for Metal Physics (IMM RWTH). In 2017, they worked as a Visiting Scholar at UC Berkeley. In 2018, they joined NVision Imaging Technologies, where they have held the roles of Junior Researcher, Researcher, Senior Researcher, and Associate Director of MR Development.

Martin Gierse has an extensive education history. Martin received a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Materials Science from RWTH Aachen University in 2015. Martin then completed an exchange semester at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya in 2016. Following that, they earned a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Materials Science from RWTH Aachen University in 2017. Martin then completed two research internships; one at University of California, Berkeley in Quantum Optics and one at UC Santa Barbara in Cleanroom diamond nanofabrication. Currently, they are pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Quantum Optics at Ulm University.
