Aihua Fu began their career in 1994 as an undergraduate and research assistant at Beijing University of Chemical Technology. Aihua then moved on to Rutgers University in 1999 to pursue a graduate degree. In 2001, they transferred to University of California, Berkeley to continue their graduate studies. In 2006, they completed their postdoc. scholarship at Stanford University's Materials Science and Engineering, Molecular Imaging Program and Center for Cancer Nanotechnology Excellence, where they tailored nanoparticle properties for in vitro diagnostics and in vivo molecular imaging and cancer targeting applications. In 2011, they became President and CEO of NVIGEN Inc, a company built upon a proprietary nanoparticle chemistry and biology platform to empower biomedical research, diagnostics and therapeutics.
Aihua Fu received a B.S. in Chemistry from Beijing University of Chemical Technology between 1994 and 1999. Aihua then went on to earn an M.S. in Chemistry from Rutgers University between 1999 and 2001. Finally, they completed their Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of California, Berkeley between 2001 and 2006.
