Don Hopper is an experienced energy sector professional with a career spanning over three decades. Currently serving as the Plant Director at NV Energy since January 2006, Don oversees operations at Chuck Lenzie Station, Silverhawk Station, and Harry Allen Station. Previous roles at NV Energy include Director of Delivery Operations South. Prior to NV Energy, Don held various positions, including Production Manager and Maintenance Manager, at Cedar Bay Generating Plant between 1996 and 2006. Earlier career experience includes work as a Control Room Operator for Bechtel Construction and as a Gas Turbine Technician Mechanical in the US Navy from 1987 to 1991.
