Orlando Vega is a seasoned propulsion engineer with extensive experience in the aerospace industry. Currently at NuWest Group as a Propulsion Engineer III since May 2021, Orlando has previously held several senior engineering roles, including positions at L3Harris Technologies, Pratt & Whitney, and SA-TECH, focusing on structural analysis, design, and support for various military and commercial engine programs. Orlando's expertise spans multiple domains including compression systems, mechanical systems, and in-space propulsion, along with significant experience in finite element analysis and materials engineering. Orlando holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Puerto Rico-Mayaguez, earned between 2002 and 2008.
