Iryna Vasylieva began their work experience as an Intern at CQG in 2011. After that, they worked as an iOS developer at DataArt from August 2011 to April 2013. Following that, they joined Intellectsoft as an iOS developer from April 2013 to April 2014. Iryna then worked as an iOS developer at Edvantis from June 2014 to December 2014. From April 2015 to July 2016, they served as a Senior iOS Developer at Innovecs. Afterward, they worked as a Software Engineer at Ovia by Ovuline from August 2016 to October 2017. Iryna then joined Couchsurfing International as a Senior iOS Engineer and worked in that role from October 2017 to August 2021. Currently, they are working as a Lead iOS Engineer at Nuvo Cares starting from September 2021.

Iryna Vasylieva attended the National Technical University of Ukraine 'Kyiv Polytechnic Institute' from 2008 to 2012, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Programming. Iryna further pursued their education at the same institution from 2012 to 2014, obtaining a Master of Science (MS) degree in Analyst of Computer Systems.
