Brett Black serves as the Managing Director and Chief Compliance Officer at Nuveen, a TIAA company, since May 2022, overseeing compliance for Nuveen Funds. Previously, Brett held roles as Chief Compliance Officer and AML Officer at BMO Global Asset Management U.S. from July 2012 to May 2022, and served as Deputy Chief Compliance Officer and Senior Compliance Officer at Vista360, LLC from January 2011 to June 2012. Brett's earlier experience includes serving as Senior Compliance Officer at Stark Investments and various positions at JPMorgan Chase & Co. spanning from September 1995 to June 2006. Brett earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Corporate Finance from Drake University from 1990 to 1994.
