Oswin Rodrigues has a diverse work experience in engineering and software development. In 2014, Oswin gained experience as a Mechanical Design Co-op at Prodomax Automation Inc., where they designed custom jigs and fixtures for automotive part-assembly stations, specifically two stations in the assembly line for the vehicle's seat track mechanism. Oswin also worked as a NeuroRobotics Research Assistant at the University of Waterloo, NeuroRobotics Lab, where they set up and operated ROS-run Turtlebot for social navigation research purposes, and wrote C++ and Python nodes to implement a basic navigation stack on the Turtlebot.

Oswin Rodrigues started their education journey by completing their International Baccalaureate Diploma at Qatar Academy from 2010 to 2013. Following this, they pursued higher education at the University of Waterloo, where they obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Honours. This academic pursuit spans from 2013 to 2018.
