Victoria Hopkins has a diverse work experience spanning various organizations and roles. Victoria currently holds the position of Global Portfolio Director, Child Survival at Nutrition International since November 2023. In March 2023, they became the Director of the Board of Directors at Ottawa Community Immigrant Services Organization - OCISO. Prior to this, they worked at Save the Children International, where they served as the Global Expertise Roster Lead for Durable Solutions Pack and Amplifying Program Impact in the Asia Pacific Forum. Victoria also held the position of Director of Programs in Thailand and Director of Program Development and Quality in Mali and Guinea. Additionally, they have worked at organizations such as The Women's Impact Alliance, Oxfam Canada, International Development Research Centre (IDRC), and Save the Children UK, where they performed various program management and research roles.
Victoria Hopkins has a Bachelor of Commerce/Business degree with a minor in French from Mount Allison University, which was obtained from 2000 to 2004. Victoria then pursued a Masters of Arts in International Affairs with Distinction, specializing in Global Political Economy at Carleton University from 2004 to 2006. Finally, they completed a Masters of Science in International Humanitarian Affairs, with a focus on Post-war Reconstruction and Development Unit, at the University of York from 2013 to 2014.
