Payal Gupta has extensive experience in nutrition and program management, currently serving as Regional Manager (Monitoring and Reporting) for Asia at Nutrition International since April 2016. Prior to this role, Payal Gupta held positions within Nutrition International and its predecessor, Micronutrient Initiative, including Senior Program Officer and Program Officer for Asia. Earlier experience includes a Project Associate role at the National Institute of Health and Family Welfare and various research associate positions with Johns Hopkins University and King George Medical University and IASDS. Payal Gupta began the career as a Program Associate at the Indian Council of Medical Research and worked briefly as a Nutritionist at Nestle India. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Nutrition and a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Food and Nutrition from Lady Irwin College, as well as completing high school at St. Ann's Senior Secondary School.
