Joseph Lobo has over 16 years of experience in the food industry. Joseph began their career in 2004 as a Production & Quality Control Coordinator at Vadilal Dairy International Ltd, where they conducted manpower trainings for hygiene and sanitation, supervised production of ice-cream and frozen desserts, and analyzed and updated specifications for raw and finished products as well as packaging. In 2005, they moved to Amrit Ice & Cold Storage as a Production Incharge/ Production Supervisor, where they identified staffing, production and capital needs in order to increase productivity, managed inventory of raw and finished products as well as packaging materials, and was involved in product development. In 2008, they became a Food Technician QA at National Food Industries Co. Ltd, where they provided technical support to production personnel, conducted product pilot trials, and developed respective product lines. In 2012, they joined Stonyfield as a Plant QC Tech, where they analyzed raw and finished goods for organoleptic, chemical and microbial evaluation, was in charge of environmental swabbing including ATP and air sampling, and assisted QA Supervisor in Excel reports for Management team. Joseph has been at Nutiva since 2014, where they have held the roles of Director of Technical Services and QA Manager.
Joseph Lobo began their education in 1994 when they obtained an Associate's degree from S M Jr college in Electrical Technology. Joseph then continued their studies at Polytechnic Institute Malavan, where they earned a Diploma in Food Technology with a focus in Food Engineering & Processing Technology in 1999. In 2003, they completed an intensive training in Packaging Technology at the Indian Institute of Packaging.
