Gemma Wickham (nee Brown) is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in regulatory compliance and employment law. Currently serving as a Senior Lawyer in the General Counsel Team at The Nursing and Midwifery Council since April 2018, Gemma provides expert legal advice on regulatory policy and assists in the development of legislation and guidance. Previous roles include Employment Lawyer at Outset UK Ltd and Legal Adviser at the General Medical Council, where responsibilities involved legal support for fitness to practice investigations and employment matters. Gemma is also an active member of the Association of Regulatory & Disciplinary Lawyers and has been involved with various legal organizations throughout their career.
