Alex Urquhart is a seasoned professional in stakeholder engagement and communications, currently serving as the Senior Stakeholder Engagement Officer at The Nursing and Midwifery Council since July 2021. In this role, Alex manages relationships with devolved stakeholders and leads complex communications projects. Prior to this, Alex held the position of Preparedness Lead at the Department of Health and Social Care, focusing on crisis management during the Covid-19 pandemic. With extensive experience at The Nursing and Midwifery Council and The Health and Care Professions Council, Alex has cultivated skills in strategic communications, project coordination, and stakeholder management. Alex holds a Master of Arts in International Social Policy and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Social Policy from the University of Kent.
