Kathryn Porterfield is a retired nurse practitioner with extensive experience in various nursing roles. Kathryn served as a registered nurse at Nurses for Newborns since June 2014, conducting home visits for at-risk pregnant women and new mothers in the greater St. Louis, MO area. Prior to this role, Kathryn worked as an advanced practice registered nurse at Brattleboro Retreat from October 2008 to September 2013 and as a family nurse practitioner at Newport Health Center from June 2003 to October 2008. Educationally, Kathryn holds a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with a focus on community health nursing from Yale University School of Nursing, which was completed from 1976 to 1980.
