Eric Yi is an experienced product design professional currently serving as the Head of Product Design at Nuro since July 2020, following roles as Senior Product Designer and Design Manager. At Magic Leap, from October 2017 to July 2020, Eric was the first product management hire in the Digital Team, where leadership in product design and user experience was demonstrated through projects like the Developer Portal and ML1 app store. In addition to their industry roles, Eric has contributed as a Career Mentor at Carnegie Mellon University's School of Computer Science since December 2019. Eric's educational background includes a Master's degree in Real Estate Development from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction from Carnegie Mellon University, complemented by a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a focus on Marketing from the Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University.
