Ryan P. P. has a diverse work experience in the fields of computational chemistry and bioinformatics. Ryan P. has worked as a Principal Scientist at Nurix Therapeutics since 2020 and previously held the position of Senior Scientist at the same company. Before that, they worked as a Scientist at Atomwise, where they conducted hit discovery and hit-to-lead activities using AtomNet technology. Ryan P. also collaborated with academic and industrial partners on multiple projects. Prior to that, Ryan worked as a Scientist in Computational Chemistry at Circle Pharma, Inc., focusing on the design of cyclic peptides and lariat compounds. Ryan P. has also held research positions as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Johnson & Johnson and the University of California, San Francisco. Additionally, Ryan has management experience as a Distribution Manager and Lead Chemist at Matheson Tri-Gas, where they supervised a team and implemented efficiency measures. Ryan P. holds a Six Sigma green belt certification and has received management and project management training.

Ryan P. P. attended the Cloudera Data Science Training Workshop in 2019. Prior to that, they completed their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Chemistry at the University of California, Davis from 2011 to 2015. Ryan P. also earned a Master of Science (M.S.) in Organic Chemistry from UCLA between 2009 and 2011. Ryan's undergraduate studies were at the University of San Francisco, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Chemistry from 2003 to 2006.
