Claudia Emilie Aanonsen is a Doctoral Candidate at the Norwegian Institute of International Affairs (NUPI) since August 2021, focusing on cybersecurity and international politics, particularly in critical infrastructure protection, private-public cooperation, and national security governance. Claudia has also contributed as a Junior Research Fellow within NUPI's Centre for Digitalization and Cyber Security Studies. Prior experience includes roles as Project Leader and Digital Editor at Cappelen Damm, Assistant Programme Manager at Turning Tables, and various internships with UNDP, the Danish Embassy in Lebanon, and UNICEF Norge. Claudia holds a PhD in International Relations from the University of Amsterdam, a Master's in International Politics from SOAS University of London, and a Bachelor's degree in Religious Studies from the University of Copenhagen, with additional studies in Political Science at the American University of Beirut.
