Steven Sun is a seasoned quantitative developer with extensive experience in the finance sector. Currently serving as Lead Quantitative Developer at Numerix since November 2022, Steven previously held roles at FINCAD, where responsibilities included direct client interactions, user workflow design, and the development of both front-end applications and back-end components. Earlier positions included Senior Quantitative Developer and Financial Engineer, where Steven contributed to the creation of margin reports and API solutions. Additional experience encompasses an Operations Associate role at Raymond James Ltd., and leadership in performance evaluation and marketing during time at the Student Investment Advisory Service and China Southern Airlines, respectively. Steven holds a Master of Science in Finance from the Beedie School of Business at Simon Fraser University and a Bachelor of Economics in International Economics from Nankai University.
