Jaime Campanella M.ed.

Senior Learning Designer at Numerica Credit Union

Jaime Campanella, M.Ed. has extensive experience in the field of learning and development. Jaime started their career at Safeco Insurance as a Customer Service Representative, where they handled calls from policyholders and agents, processed policy changes, and resolved billing issues. Jaime then moved on to become a Learning Specialist, where they provided instruction and development for new hire employees through curriculum presentation and hands-on training. Jaime also mentored and coached employees once they transitioned to the live environment.

Jaime later joined Numerica Credit Union, where they held various roles. As a Sales Trainer, they assessed training needs and designed curriculum to support department and branch staff in sales. Jaime facilitated monthly conference calls and provided one-on-one coaching to increase sales production. Jaime then became a Leadership Trainer, administering a three-year formal leadership development program. Jaime facilitated classroom sessions, conference calls, and maintained participant databases.

Jaime's career then progressed to focus more on instructional design. Jaime became an Organization Development Designer, where they researched, designed, and delivered leadership and employee development courses. Jaime collaborated with department leaders and subject matter experts to design department-specific curriculum and provided support and coaching for trainers. Jaime also worked as a Talent Development Manager, leading a team responsible for onboarding new employees, delivering technical training, and overseeing internal communications. Additionally, they led projects to overhaul onboarding experiences, technical training, and leadership training.

In their most recent role at Numerica Credit Union, Jaime served as a Senior Learning Designer, designing and creating employee-centered learning experiences. Jaime managed the learning management system (LMS) and ensured its optimization and relevance to the organization's needs. Jaime also released system enhancements and updated LMS policies and procedures.

Throughout their career, Jaime has demonstrated a strong commitment to facilitating learning and development opportunities for employees, helping them thrive and grow in their careers while aligning with organizational goals.

Jaime Campanella, M.Ed. has a diverse educational background. In 1995, they began their academic journey at the University of Idaho, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Psychology and Secondary Education and Teaching. Jaime successfully completed their undergraduate studies in 1999.

Moving forward, they expanded their knowledge in the field of education by pursuing a Master of Education (M.Ed.) degree in Instructional Design at Western Governors University from 2013 to 2014. This program equipped their with a deeper understanding of instructional techniques and strategies.

Jaime Campanella's commitment to lifelong learning is evident through their recent enrollment at the Western CUNA Management School. From 2019 to 2022, they dedicated herself to this program, earning a Diploma in the Tau Class. Additionally, they obtained several certifications to enhance their skill set. In 2020, they received the Articulate Storyline Certification from the Association for Talent Development (ATD). Prior to that, in 2011, they became a DDI Certified Facilitator through Development Dimensions International.
