Kamar Sahloul is a Senior Scientist at NuChem Sciences - Sygnature Discovery North America since September 2021, previously serving as a Research Scientist. Prior experience includes a role as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Alberta Glycomics Centre/University of Alberta from March 2013 to 2017, focusing on the synthesis of arabinan and mannan domains for identifying novel cell wall glycan biomarkers for tuberculosis diagnostics. Kamar also worked as a Medical Representative for the Orient Medical Association from September 2007 to August 2008 and engaged in pharmaceutical marketing at Novartis for a brief period in 2007. Kamar holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Organic Chemistry and a Master's degree in Organic Chemistry, both from Paris-Sud University (Paris XI).
