Andy Tjeng is a senior scientist at NuChem Sciences, serving as project manager for a US-based pharmaceutical client since January 2022. Prior experience includes roles as a process chemist at Dalton Pharma Services, where significant contributions included the improvement and scale-up of reactions to kilogram scale and the design of cost-effective synthetic routes for GMP API. Andy's earlier positions encompassed synthetic organic chemist at GL Chemtec International Ltd., consultant at Investors Group, and graduate research assistant in organic chemistry at the University of Toronto, where pioneering work was conducted on diverse nitrogen-based compounds.
