Samantha Ickes is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in journalism and social media. Currently serving as a Social Media and Video Specialist at nuCamp since January 2021, Samantha previously held reporter positions at Gannett | The Daily Record and Gannett Newspapers, covering diverse topics such as health, business, and community affairs. Notable editorial roles include Editor-in-Chief and Managing Editor at The Burr, where Samantha contributed to award-winning journalism, and various positions at The Kent Stater and The Suburbanite, which involved in-depth reporting on social justice issues and community events.
