Gannon Reichert has worked in various roles since 2016. Gannon began as a Materials Engineering Intern at the Chilean Ministry of Energy, a highly competitive, fully-funded internship supplied by Lehigh University, where they served as an intermediary between MIT and the Chilean Ministry of Energy concerning solar panel degradation research in the Atacama Desert. In 2017, Gannon worked as a Product Development Engineer at Highwood USA and as a Materials Engineer (3D Printing) at Dresser-Rand - A Siemens Business, where they were part of a team of four engineers that determined financial/technical feasibility of replacing metal milled compressor prototypes geometries with plastic 3D prints, saving the company 1 month and $30,000 on each prototype geometry. In 2018, Gannon worked as a Materials Technical Advisor at GE Transportation. Since 2019, Gannon has been a Process Engineer at Infinera and, more recently, at Nubis Communications.
