Cathy Paraskevas currently serves as General Counsel at Nuant, starting in November 2021. Previously, Cathy held the position of Senior Legal Counsel at Parallels from December 2016 to July 2019, focusing on international contracts in the technology sector. Cathy's academic contributions include roles as a Senior Commercial Law Lecturer at multiple institutions, including CTI Education Group and Damelin Education Group, from 2010 to 2015, where development and facilitation of law curricula were key responsibilities. With a legal career beginning in 1999 as a Senior Attorney at Michael Shneier Attorneys, Cathy has extensive experience across various legal domains, including commercial litigation and local government law. Cathy holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of the Witwatersrand and several certifications in project management and teaching English as a foreign language.
