Troy Howe has held various positions in the energy and technology industries since 1999. Troy began their career as an intern at Technanogy LLC and Los Alamos National Laboratory. In 2006, they became a Personal Banker at Bank of America, followed by an Algebra Tutor at Tutor.com in 2005. In 2009, they were a Design Engineer at Arizona Solar Concepts and in 2011, a Research Scientist at the Center for Space Nuclear Research. In 2021, they became COO at Nu Planet Pharmaceutical Radioisotopes and CEO at ThermaSat Inc. Troy has also been the Owner of Howe Industries LLC since 2013, a company that specializes in new energy technologies involving solar, nuclear, or traditional power sources.

Troy Howe received their Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Arizona State University in 2010. Troy then pursued a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Idaho, which they completed in 2013. Troy concluded their education with a Doctor of Philosophy in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Idaho in 2015.
