Global Technology Director at NTS AMEGA GLOBAL

Rob M. has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Rob started their career at Halliburton as an MLT Designer/Drafter in 2001 and later worked as a Mechanical Designer at Prism Production Technologies in 2003. Rob then joined Gammaloy/Marlex Energy Services as an MFG Manager/Technical Sales from 2004 to 2007. After that, they worked at Halliburton again, first as a Multilateral Production Group Leader and later as a Principal Technical Professional - Multilateral.

In 2009, Rob M. joined Amega West Services, a Carpenter company, as a Canadian Manufacturing Manager/Technical Sales. Rob was responsible for liaising with customers, managing manufacturing costs, and forecasting revenues.

Following their role at Amega West Services, Rob M. joined Cobra Machine LTD as a Mechanical Engineering Technologist/Technical Sales from 2010 to 2014. Rob then transitioned to NTS Group, starting as the Canadian Manufacturing Manager and later becoming the Engineering Manager. In their Engineering Manager role, Rob M. led the engineering team in product development, collaborated on technical solutions with customers, and presented at trade shows and conferences. Rob also played a key role in recruiting team members, implementing standards and procedures, and securing a patent for a fluid pressure pulse generation method.

Currently, Rob M. holds the position of Global Technology Director at NTS Group. In this role, they support the global technical strategy and addresses technical challenges for the company.

Rob M. completed an Associate's degree in Mechanical Engineering at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) from 2000 to 2001. In addition, they have obtained several certifications, including Shot Peening Level 1 & 2 from EI Shot Peening Training in 2017, Basic offshore survival and Underwater helicopter escape training in 2008, Sand Control from Halliburton in 2008, Accountability Training from Halliburton in 2007, Techniques and Fundamentals in Project Management in 2003, Advanced Solidworks in 2002, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing from NAIT (Northern Alberta Institute of Technology) in 2002, Halliburton Multilateral Project Design and Field Operations in 2002, and Halliburton Multilateral Systems Fundamentals in 2002.
