Anthony Doherty serves as Chief Investment Officer at NTR plc since 2014, focusing on acquiring and managing sustainable infrastructure assets in the renewable energy sector. With a strong background in finance and corporate development, Anthony has previously held leadership roles such as CEO of Green Island Capital and Development Director at Biffa. Anthony’s experience spans various sectors, including bioenergy, where significant achievements include managing a team of 50 and creating an energy from waste division. Anthony holds a Fellow Chartered Accountant designation and advanced degrees in accounting and corporate finance from UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School and University College Dublin.
