Wasif Mukaddam has a diverse work experience in various engineering roles. Wasif worked as a QA Engineer at nTop from January 2022 to November 2022 and then transitioned to the role of QA Engineer II. Before that, they served as a Course Grader and Research Assistant at Columbia Engineering from January 2021 to December 2021. As a Research Assistant, they designed and prototyped a powder dispenser for a 3D Food Printer and collaborated with another researcher on the project. Wasif utilized concepts like DFM and DFAM. Wasif also worked as a CAE Validation Intern at Altair from June 2021 to December 2021. Wasif had a tutoring role at Columbia University from December 2020 to December 2021. Prior to that, they had internships as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Cistahl Pvt. Ltd. in 2019 and Flashpoint Equipments Pvt. Ltd. in 2018. Wasif Mukaddam completed their Master of Science (MS) degree in Mechanical Engineering at Columbia University from 2020 to 2021. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Vellore Institute of Technology, where they studied from 2016 to 2020. In 2014, they completed their Higher Secondary education at Jaipuriar School. Before that, they attended Ryan International School, Nerul, from 2005 to 2014. Wasif also briefly studied at Ryan International School, Kharghar, in 2004.
In terms of additional certifications, Wasif obtained the ISTQB® Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL) from Brightest in March 2023. Wasif also holds a Certified SolidWorks Associate certification from Dassault Systèmes, which they obtained in December 2019. Additionally, they completed a course on Six Sigma Principles from Coursera in April 2019.
