Mikel Negugogor has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Mikel'smost recent role is as a Staff Software Engineer at nTopology, which they started in December 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Continuous Composites from July 2019 to December 2021. Mikel also has experience as a Software Engineer at Microsoft from 2018 to June 2019 and at Nintendo from January 2017 to September 2018. Mikel also has a background in academia, having served as an Adjunct Lecturer at Brooklyn College from January 2007 to January 2014 and as an Adjunct Instructor and Computer Lab Administrator at Carnegie Mellon University during various periods from 2004 to 2006. Mikel started their career as a Support Technician at XMission Internet in April 1997, where they worked until May 2004.

Mikel Negugogor began their education in 1999 at the University of Utah, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Philosophy. Mikel completed their undergraduate studies in 2003. In 2004, Negugogor enrolled at Carnegie Mellon University, where they earned a Master of Science degree in Logic & Computation. Mikel completed their studies at Carnegie Mellon in 2006. Following this, Negugogor continued their education at The Graduate Center, City University of New York, beginning in 2006. Mikel pursued a doctoral degree in Philosophy and successfully completed their studies in 2013 at The Graduate Center, City University of New York.
