Heath Aston is a seasoned journalist and public affairs expert with over two decades of experience in communications and media relations. Currently serving as the Director of Communications & Media in the Office of the Hon John Graham MLC at the NSW Government since May 2023, Aston previously led media efforts at Populares as Head of Media. A former Principal Manager of Media at Transport for NSW, Aston managed diverse media teams and enhanced content creation capabilities. Prior experience includes serving as a Federal Political Correspondent at Fairfax Media, where Aston built a reputation for breaking exclusive stories. Aston began a career in journalism with freelance roles and has held significant positions at notable publications, including the Daily Telegraph and Australian Associated Press. Education was completed at Charles Sturt University with a Bachelor's degree in Journalism.
