Christina H.

Head Of The Respect At Work Taskforce At Safework NSW at NSW Government

Christina H. has extensive work experience in various industries and organizations. Christina currently serves as the Head of the Respect at Work Taskforce at SafeWork NSW under the NSW Government since December 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Board Observer at the Refugee Council of Australia from March 2022 to August 2023. Christina also held multiple roles at the Australian Human Rights Commission, including Legal Director for the schools consent education survey project from April 2022 to November 2022, and Senior Lawyer from June 2021 to April 2022. Before that, they worked as a Consultant at Verreaux - NFP Crisis Consultancy from June 2020 to June 2022. Christina's earlier experience includes working as a Diplomat and Legal Adviser at the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade from February 2012 to January 2021, with additional roles as Acting Director and Assistant Director during the same period. Christina also founded the Women in International Law (WIL) network and served as its Founder from 2017 to January 2020. Furthermore, Christina held the position of Senior Legal Counsel at PayPal, eBay from January 2010 to February 2012, and worked as a Commercial Litigation Lawyer at Gadens/Dentons and Marque Lawyers from September 2007 to January 2010.

Christina H. has a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and a Bachelor of Business (Finance) degree from the University of Technology Sydney. Christina also holds a Graduate Certificate in Social Impact from UNSW. Christina H. achieved a Masters of Law (Distinction Merit) from the Australian National University. In addition, they participated in the International Law summer session at The Hague Academy of International Law - Académie de droit international de La Haye in 2018.
