Nerissa Basden has extensive experience in accounting and financial services, currently serving as the Accounting Department Manager and Accountant at nScrypt Inc. since September 2015. In addition, Nerissa is the owner of NDC Financial Services, a company founded during undergraduate studies to assist clients with budgeting, investing, and tax filing. Previous roles include Staff Accountant at Mills Products, where focus was on metal fabrication, and Front Desk/Accounting at Days Inn, Vanderbilt, emphasizing customer service and accounting. An internship at the Tennessee Education Lottery involved supporting the Accounting Department during its implementation phase. Nerissa holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting & Business Administration from Fisk University and is pursuing a Master of Business Administration at Western Governors University, expected to be completed in December 2025.
