Ronald Mizen is a seasoned journalist and policy adviser with extensive experience in the fields of finance and economics. Currently serving as a Senior Reporter at The Australian Financial Review since May 2020, Ronald has held various positions including Economics Correspondent and National Reporter. Prior to this role, Ronald was a Senior Policy Adviser with the ACT Government, supporting the Chief Minister, Treasurer, and Minister for Economic Development. Earlier career roles include Online News Editor at The Australian Financial Review and Press Secretary for the Shadow Minister for Finance in the Parliament of Australia, among others. Ronald's academic background includes a Master of Laws (on hold), a Juris Doctor, and a Graduate Certificate in Indigenous Policy & Development from The Australian National University, as well as a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from The College of Law Australia and a Bachelor of Commerce in Journalism & Public Relations from Curtin University.
