Tony McFadyen

Wellbeing & Engagement Manager at National Rugby League

Tony McFadyen is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in wellbeing and education management within the sports industry. Currently serving as Wellbeing & Engagement Manager and previously as the Holden Cup Welfare & Education Programs Manager at the National Rugby League since January 2011, Tony focuses on supporting the career, education, and professional development of youth competition players across NRL clubs. Prior to this role, Tony was the Welfare and Education Manager at Cronulla Sharks RLFC from 2006 to 2011 and progressed through various leadership positions at Flightcentre Limited from 1998 to 2006. Earlier career experience includes serving as Functions Manager at Rydges Hotels & Resorts from 1995 to 1997. Tony's educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Sports Science & Coaching from the Australian College of Physical Education, a Cert 4 in Career Development from the Australian Trade Training College, and a Governance for Directors course from the Institute of Company Directors.
