Grant Lawler is an experienced professional in rugby management, currently serving as the General Manager of Football Strategy and Research at the National Rugby League since September 2014. Prior roles include Senior Manager of Football Strategy and Project Manager for Football within the same organization. Before joining the National Rugby League, Grant Lawler worked as an NRC Consultant at Buildcorp and as a Consultant at Australian Rugby Union Ltd. Additionally, Grant has a background in law, having served as a Senior Associate at Johnson Winter & Slattery and as a Lawyer at Gilbert + Tobin. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Business and a Master of Law and Legal Practice from the University of Technology Sydney, complemented by secondary education at St Ignatius College, Riverview.
