Thomas Hughes is a seasoned marketing and strategic initiatives leader with extensive experience in the energy sector, particularly with NRG Energy since June 2010. At NRG, Thomas has held multiple key positions, including Head of Go-to-Market, Brand & Creative, where responsibilities included leading marketing strategy and brand communications for Cirro Energy and Discount Power. As Head of Innovation Partnerships and Planning, Thomas developed long-term retail innovation roadmaps and managed internal incubation initiatives. Previous roles included overseeing annual strategic planning for Reliant and driving marketing strategies across various consumer segments. Before joining NRG, Thomas served in significant marketing roles at AT&T, where management of global sponsorships and advertising campaigns was a focus. Thomas co-founded Kelly Hughes Designs and contributed to various professional organizations in the field of sports sponsorship and marketing.
