Chris Haas has extensive experience in supply chain management, currently serving as the Vice President of Supply Chain at NRG Energy since May 2010. Previous roles include Vice President of Supply Chain at IES and Assistant Vice President of Purchasing and Materials at CSX Transportation. Chris began a career in procurement as a Manager of Engine Procurement at Navistar Inc., and also held a position as Buyer in Purchasing and Materials at Ford Motor Company. Notably, Chris served as a Submarine Officer in the US Navy before transitioning to the corporate sector. Educational credentials include an MBA in Finance/Marketing from Indiana University - Kelley School of Business and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame.
