Ole André Vadla Ravnås is a seasoned software engineer and security researcher with extensive experience in dynamic binary instrumentation and video conferencing software development. Since May 2015, Ravnås has been a Security Researcher at NowSecure while concurrently founding and maintaining The Frida Project, which focuses on cross-platform instrumentation. Previous roles include co-founding Soundrop, where expertise in desktop and web application development was applied, along with significant contributions at Cisco Systems in video conferencing software development. Ravnås has also established numerous projects, including oSpy and libmimic, showcasing a strong background in reverse engineering and open-source contributions. Ravnås holds a unique distinction of creating a Linux distribution and has been continuously involved in software engineering since the late 1990s.
