Matthew Patterson is a Research Associate at Novoron Bioscience since February 2023, with prior experience as a CIRM intern at UC San Diego Health from August 2021 to August 2022. In September 2021, Matthew participated in the CIRM Bridges Pre-Internship Workshop at Open Biopharma Research and Training Institute, gaining skills in aseptic techniques, GLP/GMP introduction, and various laboratory methods. Previously, Matthew worked as a Laboratory Technician at BioLegend from June 2021 to August 2021 and served as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at San Diego State University from December 2020 to August 2021, focusing on protein engineering under Dr. Love. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from San Diego State University, earned in 2022.
