Kris Lewonowski, MD, is an experienced orthopedic surgeon specializing in spine and total joint procedures. Currently serving as an orthopedic surgeon at Novomed Centers since January 2018 and at Medstar Day Surgery Center and Clinic since January 2017, Kris has held significant positions including Medical Director and Orthopaedic Spine and Total Joint Surgeon at Alliance Medical Center in Dubai until its closure in January 2017, as well as roles at Saudi German Hospital Dubai and Galichia Medical Group. Kris's expertise encompasses maximum conservative care, complex spine reconstruction, adult degenerative spine conditions, spinal stenosis, tumors, disc pathology, artificial disc replacement, and microsurgery, with proficiency in both anterior and posterior spinal procedures. Educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Hendrix College.
