Katherine Tiku serves as the Senior Director and Head of Publications at Novocure since June 2016, while also operating Tiku Publications Consulting LLC as President and Owner since 2011, focusing on establishing publication departments for biotech and medical device firms. With expertise across multiple therapeutic areas, particularly Oncology, Rheumatology, Cardiovascular, and Inflammation/Immunology, Katherine has supported Medical Affairs and strategic product communication. Previous roles include Senior Director of Scientific Publications at Astellas Pharma and global publication management positions at Alcon and Sanofi-aventis. Katherine's early career involved significant contributions to medical writing and publication strategy at multiple organizations including Aventis Pharma, DesignWrite, and OXFORD CLINICAL COMMUNICATIONS INC. Katherine holds a PhD in Molecular Biology from Rutgers University and advanced degrees in Immunology, Cell Biology, and Biology from the University of Illinois Chicago, University of Maryland, and Stella Maris College, respectively.
