Filip K. Knop is a distinguished medical professional currently serving as Corporate Vice President and Senior Medical Officer for Diabetes & Obesity at Novo Nordisk, having joined the company in December 2023. Filip has held a prominent academic position as Professor of Endocrinology at the Department of Clinical Medicine, Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences at the University of Copenhagen since August 2016. Prior roles include Head of the Center for Clinical Metabolic Research at Herlev-Gentofte Hospital and Consultant Endocrinologist at Steno Diabetes Center Copenhagen.
