Tereza Bautzova has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and industries. Tereza began their career as a Trainee in Pharmacy, working at different pharmacies in 2004 and 2006. Tereza then went on to work as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Veterinary and Pharmaceutical Sciences from 2008 to 2010, where they conducted seminars and practical classes in pharmaceutical technology.
In 2010, Tereza joined the Université de Franche-Comté as a Research and Teaching Assistant, a position they held until 2012. During this time, they gained experience in both research and teaching.
From 2013 to 2015, Tereza worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at INSERM, focusing on the activation mechanism of the MRGD receptor related to pain hypersensitivity in inflammatory bowel syndrome. In 2016, they joined INSERM again as a Postdoctoral Researcher, working on the role of bioactive peptides and microbiota in Diabetes Mellitus Type 2.
Tereza also has experience as a Pharmacist, fulfilling all tasks in the pharmacy and counseling patients, which they gained during their time at Pharmacie/Officine in 2016.
In 2017, they became a Research Scientist at the University of Geneva, collaborating on the TargetAMD project, where they established powerful qPCR techniques to determine the efficiency of a transfection method for the development of a new genetic treatment for Age-Related Macula Degeneration.
Most recently, Tereza has been working as a Research Assistant at NovImmune since 2018.

Additionally, in 2008, they received a Certificate in Prevention of cruelty to animals from the University of Veterinary and Pharmaceutical Sciences in Brno.
