Nishant Shetty is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in analytical development and assay technologies within the biopharmaceutical sector. Currently serving as Manager of Analytical Development at Novavax since July 2021, Nishant leads a team focused on developing immuno and molecular biology assays for vaccine characterization, utilizing advanced technologies such as ELISA, Octet, and Luminex. Prior experience includes a senior scientist role at FUJIFILM Diosynth Biotechnologies, where Nishant coordinated analytical method development for viral and gene therapy, and a significant tenure at Texas A & M University, contributing to drug discovery projects and biochemical characterization. Nishant holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry/Biochemistry from Texas A & M University and a Master’s in Organic Chemistry from Mumbai University.
