Marin Banovac currently serves as the Medical Safety Lead in the Chief Medical Office and Patient Safety at Novartis since January 2022. Prior experience includes a tenure at the European Medicines Agency from 2012 to February 2022 as a Risk Management Specialist and a Signal Detection Lead in Pharmacovigilance. Additional roles encompassed serving as an Alternate Member of the Pharmacovigilance Risk Assessment Committee (PRAC) and various positions at the Agency for Medicinal Products and Medical Devices from 2008 to March 2014, including Principal Coordinator for Safety Assessment and Senior Pharmacovigilance Assessor. Marin Banovac began a career in pharmaceutical sales as a Medical Sales Representative at Sanofi from 2007 to 2008. Educational qualifications include a Certificate in Immunology and Immuno-oncology from Harvard Medical School, a Master's Degree in Clinical Pharmacology from the University of Surrey, and a Master's Degree in Pharmacy from the Faculty of Pharmacy in Zagreb.
