Maarten Barthel is a seasoned business developer with extensive experience in the renewable energy and consulting sectors. Currently serving as the Business Developer Hydrogen at Novar since October 2023, Barthel focuses on developing renewable energy systems. Previously, Barthel held the position of Business Manager Energy & Datacenters at Groningen Seaports NV from February 2017 to October 2023, where responsibilities included managing projects in the energy sector. Prior to that, Barthel worked as a Business Development Manager at EuroDev and as a Business Development Consultant for the Netherlands Foreign Investment Agency.
